Sometimes you are just a little too busy in the morning to make a full breakfast. Skipping breakfast is quite normal (intermitting fasting) for some and a disaster for others. If you don't have much time but you want to start the day well, you can try a well-filled oat protein smoothie. This smoothie not only contains a lot of protein, but also gives you enough energy to start the day well because of a good amount of complex carbohydrates. And guess what ... he's nice too.
- 3 minutes
- 800 ml milk (almond milk or coconut milk is also allowed)
- 1 banana
- 100 grams of unsalted nuts
- 300 grams of frozen red fruit
- 200 gram oatmeal
- 200 grams of low-fat French curd cheese
- 1 scoop whey protein
Pour the milk into the blender and gradually add all ingredients except the protein powder. Set the blender to the lowest setting for one minute. This makes the substance of the smoothie nice and airy and all your ingredients are blended together well. Add the whey protein last and mix briefly so that there are no lumps. You can also always add some Chia seed and linseed!
As you can see, the protein smoothie with oatmeal is very easy to make. Yet it contains many good nutrients such as proteins, vitamins and minerals. It also contains many complex carbohydrates and fats from oatmeal and nuts. If you are in the bulk phase this is definitely a good protein shake.
