Liquid egg proteins are still unknown to a lot of people, even experienced athletes and people who regularly diet, and this is very remarkable when you consider the many benefits of this product. Not only does it have a very favorable nutritional value (low in calories, fats and carbohydrates), but it also tastes great. In addition, the proteins from liquid egg proteins have a very high biological value. This means that it contains many essential amino acids compared to other foods, and this is of course very important for athletes.
In this article we will give a brief explanation about liquid egg proteins and then conclude with 3 delicious recipes.
How do I use liquid egg proteins?
1 egg protein equals approximately 30 ml of liquid eggwhites. A normal portion therefore contains approximately 100 ml of liquid egg proteins. So you get around 10 good meals from a bottle Liquid Eggwhites from Body & Gym Shop. In addition, some smaller bottles of 500 ml are also offered, so you can also start with this.
You can consume liquid egg proteins in many different ways. The most popular way is to bake it and turn it into a delicious omelet or scrambled egg. But you can also easily mix it with your protein shake, mix it with cake or cake batter, or make meringues with it. In short, Liquid Eggwhites can be used with any dish where egg separation applies, but it is much easier!
What are liquid egg proteins made of?
Almost all liquid egg proteins offered are made from 100% pasteurized egg proteins. This means that harmful bacteria that cause spoilage are removed. The egg proteins are briefly heated without changing the product too much (so do not confuse this with sterilization). Of course the quality of the eggs used can differ. This depends on the condition of the chickens during production, and can therefore differ per supplier.
3 Delicious recipes
Creamy scrambled eggs
- 100 ml Liquid Eggwhites
- 1 / 2 onion
- Hand of chives
- Body & Gym Shop Spice mix - Bolognese (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Heat the pan over medium heat and wait until it is hot. Then add a baking agent of your choice (for example olive oil or coconut oil), and add the chopped onion to the pan. Let this bake gently, and reduce the heat when the onion is cooked.
Now add the Liquid Eggwhites and stir. It is important that this is done on a low heat to keep the eggs creamy. Keep stirring until the eggs are cooked. At this time you can add the chopped chives, salt and pepper, and any other herbs, and your scrambled eggs are ready!
- Cooking spray
- 15 grams of fresh spinach
- 170 ml Liquid Eggwhites
- 1 tortilla
- garlic powder (pinch)
- onion powder (pinch)
- cayenne pepper (pinch) (optional)
- Salt and pepper (pinch)
- Cheddar cheese
Spray a pan over medium heat with baking spray and add the spinach. Bake the spinach until it has wilted. Add the Liquid Eggwhites and sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Stir CANNOT but let it bake like an omelet. You can safely turn the egg if one side becomes too dark, and it is okay if the egg breaks a bit. Just don't make scrambled eggs from it.
Prepare the tortillas while the egg is baking, and coat them with cheddar cheese. When the egg is fried, add it to the tortilla. Fold the tortilla in half so that the egg is covered on both sides.
If the tortilla is crispy enough, your meal is ready!

Extra protein pancake
- Cooking spray
- Create 2 Real pancake
- 30 ml Liquid Eggwhites
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 180 ml water
- Half Granny Smith apple
- Real Pancake Sauce (optional)
Fill a blender with 180 ml of water and gradually add all ingredients to prevent lumps. Let the blender run for half a minute until everything is well mixed, possibly you can blend a little longer than a minute.
Then spray some cooking spray into a pan and add the mixture when the pan is hot. When the edges start to brown, turn the pancake over and cook until both sides are tender.
Put some Real Pancake Sauce on the prepared pancake to give it a sweeter taste. You can also add syrup and / or powdered sugar here, but that is naturally at the expense of health!
Liquid Eggwhites is a very handy product that you can use in many ways. It has a high nutritional value and is reasonably cheap. It is also easy to use and save. Body & Gym Shop already offers them from € 4,15 per liter.
