You sometimes see the 'vegan' logo on some products, but what does this actually mean? Vegetarians consciously choose not to eat meat, fish or gelatin. Vegans go a little further: they don't consume any animal products at all. This means that they do not eat eggs, milk, honey, meat / fish or other animal products.
There are several reasons for eating vegan. Examples include: own health, animal welfare or the impact on the environment.
